Cold Weather

Well it sure has been a cold winter for the Panhandle of Florida. The rain hasn't helped. Not much for fishing in this type of weather so I have been spending most of my time building my web design business. This is a good thing! I am very eager to start making clients and providing well designed websites that brings customers through their door.

I have been benchmarking my competition and am blown away at the rates some of these guys charge. I am determined to make my rates reasonable and to include the search engine optimization with the design (within reason), instead of tacking it on as a seperate service.

The client's involvement on the web design is key. It is necessary to get into the head of each client and see exactly what they are seeing while at the same time maintain an organized layout that is clean. I know, from the past, that clients sometimes are not always sure what they want. So I am geared at letting everyone know it is traffic.. along with a professional clean looking layout that properly conveys the business.

I have decided to market my business completely through the internet. This is a great way to show to my potential client that internet marketing really works and that my business solely runs on it!

http://www.realisticwebsolutions.com/ will be up and running by the end of the month. I am excited to see the business I can generate just through internet advertisement and good search engine optimization.

I hope everyone's winter has been productive and renewing. Before the temperature dropped I was able to take the kayak out and get into some fish after Christmas. I decided I would post a picture of what was a beautiful day! Looking forward to spring time.
